Structure: 

The battery consists of a battery slot, an overflow slot, a battery slot cover, a probe, positive and negative plates, a nozzle, an air chamber, an air pipe, a switch, an air cylinder, etc. The positive and negative plates are inserted into the battery slots at both ends, there is a nozzle on the air chamber, and there is an air guide tube on the nozzle. The probe is made of a sheet material with a small acid-resistant polarization electromotive force

1. The electromotive force ε of a single cell is about 2V

2. The internal resistance r is 5-50Ω' and is continuously adjustable. It is allowed to work in the case of an external circuit short circuit

3. The battery capacity is not less than 1 ampere hour

Function:

The adjustable internal resistance battery is a DC power supply specially designed for middle school physics teaching demonstrations. It is a semi-enclosed lead-acid battery with a certain capacity and relatively stable electromotive force; its internal resistance is relatively large and can be adjusted continuously between 5-50 ohms

Use:

In physics demonstration experiment teaching, it can be used to conveniently and accurately conduct the following experiments:

1. Study Ohm's law of closed circuits

2. Use ammeter and voltmeter to measure the electromotive force and internal resistance of the battery
