Purpose: 

A new demonstration meter designed for popularizing nine-year compulsory education. It can be used to measure DC current and DC voltage, and can also be used as a galvanometer. It is a direct and intuitive teaching aid for studying the structure of magnetoelectric meters in teaching. The meter has good intuitiveness, high visibility, easy operation, and reasonable structure. It adopts the internal magnetic structure of high-quality magnetic steel to make the instrument magnetically stable, highly sensitive, light weight, and easy to carry. The meter head adopts a silicon diode protection circuit to prevent overload current from damaging the meter. Structure and working principle: The meter is a magnetoelectric structure, mainly consisting of a meter head and a measuring circuit. The meter head consists of an internal magnetic bracket, a yoke ring, a moving coil, a hairspring, a shaft tip seat, and a bearing made of high-quality magnetic steel. When current passes through the moving coil, a magnetic field is generated that interacts with the magnetic field generated by the internal magnetic bracket and the yoke to generate a torque, causing the moving coil to deflect. When the torque is short-balanced with the force generated by the hairspring, the pointer is in the balance position, indicating the measured value. A mechanical zero adjustment knob is installed at the rear of the meter.
