Effective Methods for Assessing Students' Instrument Operation Skills and Safety Awareness
1. Hierarchical Assessment Scale
Use a performance-based assessment scale to categorize students' operational processes into four dimensions: "Preparation, Operation, Recordkeeping, and Cleanup," with each dimension assigned a 1-5 rating.
Provide real-time feedback through an online platform to help students identify weaknesses and make timely improvements.
2. Skills Test and Practical Assessment
Design a structured skills test that covers key steps such as instrument identification, correct assembly, airtightness testing, heating, and dripping.
Use an objective scoring system (e.g., 30 points for lab report, 30 points for operation, 20 points for structural analysis, and 20 points for skills test) to comprehensively assess students' practical skills.
3. SOLO Assessment Model
Introduce the SOLO (Structured Observational Learning Outcome) two-dimensional assessment system into experimental teaching, creating a hierarchical hierarchy for students' operational thinking, description of experimental phenomena, and analysis of results.
